Let's face it, understated and reserved are not ways we'd typically describe the vivacious and exuberant Goddess that is, Nicole Scherzinger. And her latest hairstyle is every bit as maximalist as her infectious personality. A far cry from her recent 00s streaky highlights or wet-look shag bob, the star just wore an incredibly elaborate sculptural updo on The Masked Singer and we are in awe.

It was created by celebrity hairstylist Rob Salty, hair whisperer to the likes of Cindy Crawford, Sydney Sweeney and Pamela Anderson. And someone needs to send this man to Art Basel or something because his work needs to be exhibited in a gallery. This. Is. Art.

Just look at it. With the base slicked back to her head, the gravity-defying style blossoms into curls, sheets and waves of statuesque high-shine hair, and sweeps forward into XL swoops framing her face like giant baby hairs. Some of those points look downright dangerous they're so sharp and precise.

With the fit styled by Jessica Paster, the asymmetric extravagant hairstyle really came together with the eccentric gown packed with textures, colours and folds.

We didn't even notice the sparkle and mesh till like the 10th watch. And Kardashian favourite Wendi Miyake more than delivered on the makeup, keeping the colours neutral so the zingy colours of the dress could really shine.

Sorry, TV? This is better than half of the Met Red Carpet looks of the last three years.
