Rebel Moon Part 3: Cast, plot and more

Sci-fi fans, listen up because Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver just dropped on Netflix and director Zack Snyder delivered a space epic like no other. But, will there be a third film?

The sequel, starring Sofia Boutella, saw Kora and her fellow rebels gear up for battle against the ruthless forces of the Motherworld and face up against enemies they thought they had already defeated. Think space shoot-outs, action and more!

Viewers are already keen to return to Veldt for a third instalment of the sci-fi franchise, so from the cast to plot and more, here is everything you need to know about Rebel Moon Part 3.

Netflix has not confirmed a third instalment of the space saga, but director Zack Snyder already expressed interest in making up to three more films!

"I guess four makes sense," he told RadioTimes.com. "Four or six movies, depending... I guess it's whether or not every time we make one of these movies we make two. That's the question.

"We absolutely have the story all set, we did all that work," he added. "We wrote a treatment for the movie, so we'll see how we go ahead." Fingers crossed!

If a third film goes ahead, we could expect lots of the cast to return for more sci-fi adventures, including:

• Sofia Boutella as Kora
• Djimon Hounsou as Titus
• Staz Nair as Tarak, Elise Duffy as Milius
• Cleopatra Coleman as Devra Bloodaxe

But, spoiler warning, some characters didn't make it to the end of the second film, including Michiel Huisman's Gunnar, Doona Bae's Nemesis and Ed Skrein's Atticus Noble, so we wouldn't expect to see them in a third instalment.

As Zack Snyder has already written the treatment for the film (exciting!), we don't know for sure. But, considering the ending of Part 2, it seems likely that we would directly continue the story with the Rebels fighting against the Motherland and tracking down Princess Issa after she survived the assassination attempt.
